Creating shortcuts on the desktop or taskbar

  1. Navigate to the Windows logo on the bottom left of your screen and select it.
  2. Scroll and find the desired program you want to create a shortcut for.
  3. Right click the desired program and either select “Pin to Taskbar” to add it to your bottom taskbar or select open file location.
    1. If you selected open file location, a file explorer window will open, and the desired program will be highlighted. Right click the program and navigate to Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut) and select it. It will now appear as a shortcut on your desktop. (Seen below)
