Formatting a USB Flash Drive to exFAT (Windows)

To format your flash drive to exFAT formatting on Windows, follow the instructions below:
Note: Reminder--Before reformatting a USB device, it's recommended to move any files that need to be saved to another location.
- From File Explorer, navigate to your flash drive.
- Select “Format” on your flash drive
- Select “exFAT” under file system
- Select “Start.”
Once formatting is complete, you will be able to move your saved documents back onto your flash drive.
